Your Mac's Specs
Mid 2012 MBP - 13" i5 3210M, 16GB RAM, 240GB SSD, 500GB storage (in place of optical).
im just a little confused about the MagSafe adapter
which way does it go?
since the adapter has a 90* angle on it, that mean it can attach in 2 directions
with the cord toward the trackpad
or
with the cord away from the trackpad

there are only 4 pins inside it
so which way does it attach?
does the right angle need to be toward the trackpad or away?

thanks

It will work both ways, but the more convenient way is to position it NOT covering any ports, which on my MBP is away from the track pad.

Way... way too many specs to list.

Depends, sometimes the convenient way is to cover the ports ;)

Generally when using it in a space restricted environment....

In short, it really does not matter.

MagSafe - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"MagSafe has connector pins that are designed so the rectangular connector can be inserted in either orientation (however, the L-shaped version of the connector can only be fitted in one orientation without blocking neighboring ports, such as USB)."
