iMovie on iPad

I made a movie on iMovie on my iPad. After rendering it I noticed that part of main character's head is cut off. I filmed the whole movie with my iPhone 5. Watching the raw footage and when watching it, it was perfect. I had a choice of standard or wide screen and chose standard. As I understand I should be able to select standard or wide screen every time I start a new project but iMovie does not always give me that option when I start a new project. I have deleted iMove and reinstalled it but again my main character's head is chopped off!!! HELP PLEASE!!!!!

If you shot the movie using your iPhone 5, then you shot it in widescreen. Try choosing that and re-editing that sequence.
