Hi,

I want to give a program access to my contacts. It says to go to system preferences/security & privacy/privacy/contacts.

OK but having done that I can't see how to add a program - even after unlocking.

Grateful for any advice.

An Application needs to 'Ask' to have access to your Contacts. This will happen the first time it needs to do so.
You'd only go into system preferences to see which apps had access and to remove that access
