music; pc -> powerbook/ibook, possible?

hey ppl,

I just bought myself and my gf a 15" powerbook and 12" ibook respectively. now she's going away to school in australia in a couple days and I want to put some 15gb's of music on her computer FROM my PC. also I want to do the same to my powerbook. Now is it even possible to do a direct transfer, say firewire, from mac to pc? or am I going to have to do something insanely inconvenient just to get this music on her/my computer?

If you install macopener on your pc, you can just hold down t as you're booting your macs and they'll show up as a firewire harddrive on the pc.

Otherwise, hook them up via a network cable and go that route, or use an external harddrive (iPod).
