I have an issue regarding iTunes. My wife accidentally deleted most of her library.

This is how we download:

Downloaded music goes into our downloads folder
We then go into iTunes, add to library, select the songs from the downloads folder.

For my Mac I can then erase the files in the download folder and everything is fine.

My wife cleared her downloads folder and I guess iTunes did not copy them. Yes the check mark is there to copy in preferences, Advanced.

Her iPod has all the songs intact.

How can I copy from her iPod and replace the music on her computer?

I am currently serving in the forces and I am away from home. Would need detailed instruction to help her.

Thanks

Terry, thank you for your service.

Someone else will be along with an elegant solution to your problem. I don't want to burden you with the "brute force" method I could suggest.

What branch of the service are you in?

If you log into your iTunes account, you can go to the "purchased" section and see everything you have purchased from the iTunes Store. iTunes will let you re-download any music you have purchased previously.
