Final cut express 4 Music edits

I would like to fade in my music on the audio track of my Final Cut 4 project. How do I do that?

I use Final Cut Pro 7 so it might be a little different on express 4 but on mine, you go to effects, audio transitions, cross fade (0db), then drag it to the beginning or end of the audio track.
