Alerts in iPad2

iMac OS X 10.11.5; iPad2 (8.1.2-12B440); New iPad; MS-Office for Mac 2011 (14.5.5)
Whenever I enter a new appointment in my Calendar, a 10 minutes alert appears on the One Day Page, even if I set "none" for one and future events they creep back in...

How to cancel ONCE AND FOR ALL FUTURE these alerts ?

Is this a local, on iPad calendar or is it an online linked calendar like a google calendar etc?

It is the "official iPad calendar".

Depends on the version of iOS you have but for iOS6:

Settings - Mail,Contacts,Calendars - under Calendars - Default Alert Times
