windows 7 on imac

hey i was wondering if windows 7 home premium 64 bit system builder 1pk the old version will work on my 2012 21inch i mac using bootcamp to install

please help thank you.
im a noob thanks in advance

G'day and welcome to the forums.

If the OEM pack has not been activated previously yes the 64bit version is the way to go. Maybe when registered normally tied to one machine.

Applications - Utilities - Boot Camp Assistant

Open it up - click on the 'Print Installation & Setup Guide' button.
Print it out - read through it - it's easy and fairly short.

Just a few pages in, it will list the versions of Windows that your version of Boot Camp Assistant will work with.

While it won't list it - if it lists the version of windows you have, the system builders version will work.
Am "assuming' this is not a branded Dell, HP, etc., disc.
