I'm on 10.8.4 and recently started using the Messages app more and more. But I'm annoyed by the mirroring/shadow effect that is at the top and bottom of each message when in Balloons view. Is there a way to get rid of that effect without switching to one of the other views (I prefer the Balloons layout)?
