Hi

My iPhone 4s is about 9 months old. It had been working perfectly until I went to take a picture today!

When I depressed the switch to take the picture, it was as if the button stuck and the screen went blank without taking the picture.

When I swiped the screen to unlock it, it sounded like the shutter frame actioned - but still no picture. :(

Can anyone help?

It sounds like the button is stuck. Take it to an Apple Store, and Apple Authorized Service Provider, or to your cell provider. Unless you'd rather take it apart and muck about it yourself.

EDIT: When you say you "depressed the switch", I assume you mean the volume button? If you mean the on-screen switch, then try a hard reset of your iPhone.

Thank you for your reply. I suspected that it would have to go to the shop. :Not-Amused:
