We are trying to mount a drive at login. The shares are on a Windows 2008 server.

We have tried to mount the drives from Profile Manager - Everyone Group - Login Items - Network Mounts. We are specifically trying to mount the following:

fs1/staffhome/%short_name%

This does not automatically mount the drive. We can manually download the settings for the everyone profile and then the client machine tries to mount the drive but it fails and states that we don't have permission to access the server.

We have found this link: lucke.info/2011/10/mounting-samba-smb-shares-in-mac-os-x-lion/
It shows a way to mount the drive using a command line from Terminal. Assuming that this works, how do we run this command at login? Can it be done from the OSX server Profile Manager?
