My wife's has OS X 10.8.4 installed and keeps being informed that iMovie update Ver 9.0.9 is ready for download. She's currently got Ver 9.0.8, which came pre-installed with her new Mac Book Pro. On signing on to Software Update it insists the T&C box be ticked, which I do, but nothing happens; it doesn't start the download for the update.
I've contacted Apple Support who told me to uninstall iMovie and start again. They seemed to think it was software purchased by download from the Apple Store. Although I pointed out that was not the case and could they check my wife's settings for her Apple Store Account and possibly reset them, they seem clueless about the problem. Any help appreciated.
