09 Macbook Pro HD storage

Hi experts. My wife's MBP is very low on storage and not sure why. Attached are some screen shots of her iTunes and iPhoto libraries which are taking up about 90GB.

As you can see from your own screenshots, the iPhoto and iTunes libraries are counted under "other" -- so that's 90GB of your mystery 133GB already explained.

"Other" simply means anything that doesn't fit one of the other existing categories. The "movies," "photos" and "videos" referred to in your first screen shot are representing "loose" media file that aren't part of the iPhoto or iTunes libraries.

Now what's taking up the other 43GB of space is the real question.
