I have a pretty wicked setup with an iMac 27 and great nearfield monitors and microphones... I would love to be able to use this setup to deal with phone calls on my android phone.. I have a Samsung Note II... so how can I set up my iMac to act as a call manager and bluetooth headset for the telephone... gives me hands free great audio reception... any suggestions? I have tried using Phone Amego, but it seems to default to the iMac's built in speakers and microphone... it is too cumbersome to use.

Help!

I'm not familiar with Phone Amego. But you can use Sounds in System Preferences to determine with inputs and outputs you want to use.
