New user account

I have gone to my deleted user folder in finder and traced and glued my documents to the new admin I created to resurrect the account, however once I attempt to copy the .dmg file a text box pops up that claims "no mountable file systems" is there something I may probably do at this time. I actually have such a lot of sentimental valuables thereon deleted account.

Any chance all these valuables have been backed up to an external hard drive?
