I have read many posts about little black lines on the bottom of peoples' iBooks that they say look like scratches. Well, my iBook had them too. I have found a very cheap way to get rid of them and restore your iBook back to new condition. All you need is a rag and some EXPO dry erase board cleaner. Squirt the board cleaner onto the rag until the rag is damp (not soaking wet). NEVER put any cleaner directly on the surface of the iBook (or anything for that matter). Just rub a bit with the dampened rag and the black lines will be gone.
