Hello,

I have a Macbook Pro. I have traditionally been using 6 different spaces for my different applications. I recently purchased a secondary monitor. I was able to get the monitor working, however, it is linked to my desktop whenever I switch spaces. I was ideally hoping to be able to use my spaces on my Macbook, and keep my secondary monitor stationary. Is this possible?

Thank you
Jon

Not in any current version of OS X. OS X 10.9 Mavericks has significantly better multi-screen support and will allow you to do what you want by allowing each of the spaces on the screens to transition individually..
