I recently received an e-mail suggesting that Apple products are no longer immune from viruses. The individual didn't give chapter and verse for specific examples. Before I reply I would appreciate any feedback other Mac Forum users may have.

I would also like to know if Wifi repeaters are automatically protected by the same password encryption as the Wifi router to which they are associated. Also are WPA & WPA2 the latest and most secure protection? If so what is the difference between the two?

Delete the email. WiFi repeaters need the password of the current network to get onto it and repeat unless they are just signal boosters. Information about WPA and WPA2

Nothing is immune from viruses (if history is anything to go by) but there are no widely circulated ones available for OS X.
