Kind Folks,
Lost a tiny resistor when replacing a chipset. (Heat gun got it by mistake) Dont want to buy a whole logic board to get a 50 cent resistor. Anyone know how to get a parts list, schematic or website to determine the value of this resistor? Radio shack sells the part, but I need the exact resistance value. Its an old 2007 Macbook Pro Logic board 820-2101-a. The resistor is one of 6 similar ones in a row right above the Nvidia chipset.

Unless you can get hold of a service manual that includes a schematic for your 2007 MBP, you're going to have a difficult time finding out the value of that resistor. You may be able to find another machine same as yours where you can identify the value. The problem with surface mounted components even when they're not defective, is they're hard to read what value they are without a schematic.
