Does InDesign still crash on new macbook air?

I just called apple to purchase an 11 inch macbook air. When I also ordered Adobe creative suite, the operator said that apple would not recommend running creative suite on the macbook air. And I am talking about the latest macbook air with upgraded processor and 8 gig of ram.

I then did a search and saw it gave issues with InDesign in particular and also the same problem happened on macbook pros with retinas.

Has anyone got the latest macbook air and tried it out? Or on the macbook pro with retina 13 inch? Do you know if it got fixed and works fine now?

Or can you help me find out the latest in this issue?

Thanks so much for that bobtomay, I am amazed that the apple guys I spoke to know nothing about the fix. I even called the technical team.

Well, after working as a call center support tech myself for Dell & MS, it's impossible to keep up with everything. Most individual techs will only be aware of those issues with which they have personally dealt.

Due to the massive amounts of local data they have access to, a whole bunch of them don't even consider "google" (some tech support centers don't permit their techs access to the outside world either) - took me about 2 minutes to find that article.
