Burnt By Belkin

I have an old PowerBook G4 that didn't have an airport card. To cut a long story short I went to the Apple Store asked a sales man - which was the best wireless card to buy. He recommended it — I bought it.

It turns out that this is the worst Wireless Notebook Card you could buy.
I've since found out that I need to download a specific driver for it to work.


Can anybody advise the best driver to download?

I have the Belkin Wireless G Notebook card

you should not need a driver, and that is a pretty good card.

I spent time on the phone with Belkin and they told me that the Wireless card is not compatible with Mac OS V 10.4.3, which is what I have.

I was actually told that I had to downgrade my OS in order to get this card to work!!!!!!!!!

Ideas ???? (aside from returning it) or any recommendations for a wireless card?
