Installing iOS 7 on an iPhone that has never been synced

As the title says I want to install iOS 7 (I am a member of the iOS Developer Program) on my iPhone 5.
Xcode wants to erase/restore my iPhone, and iTunes wants to set it up as a new phone.

Is there a way to install iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 without erasing/restoring it?
Or is there a way to back it up without setting it up as a new phone?

iOS 7 is available to registered developers, like yourself. That comes with the expectation that you know what you are doing and how to deploy it to a test device (not your primary device) and develop your application, test and so on.

Until iOS 7 is publicly available, we will not be able to help you..
