That is not true, the debugger works on all versions of OS X. Please grab a OS X/Xcode development book and learn how things work from there..

Look I watched a video on how to debug a Program, then I read on apple's site which says that you can't debug(Test) program using Xcode on MaC lion. Tried and nothing works

When you make a statement like that, what helps clear up confusion is to provide the link where you read/saw it. That way we can look at it ourselves and confirm what you understand or correct any misunderstanding..

OK, that post is from 2011 and since then Mountain Lion has been introduced and XCode has been updated a few times to deal with all of that..

How are you debugging the application? What language did you write it in? Are you using breakpoints?

Can I suggest you invest in an OSX/cocoa development book. Something aimed at learning the language and it's tools from scratch.

I've been coding in various languages for 16 years now. Debugging can be frustrating at best. If you're going to give yourself anything like a fighting chance I can highly recommend a book that will help you take the first few steps.

It's hard to know without seeing your code.

From what I can gather, you're new to OS X development. As mrplow suggested, it might be helpful to pick up a good book and work your way through that. When I learned Python, I read a decent book cover to cover and found that I learned more than enough to get started and develop decent apps (skills which were transferable to other languages).
