So I recently decided to use Onyx and set it so I always boot up in singe-user mode. It loaded in single-user mode but when I ran the command to start it up normally it wont work. Now it loads sort of normally but there is a progress bar under neither the spinning wheel. Once it gets a third of the way there it disappears and my computer shuts off. I tried to load it in verbose mode and it seemed to be working until all of a sudden a ton of text came up and it shut off. Help please!

I'm not sure why you'd set it to boot in Single User mode, and wouldn't recommend doing it via Onyx.

That aside try resetting your PRAM as a first step.
(hold Option-Command-P-R on boot until you hear two chimes)

Boot from your Mac OS DVD and use Disk Utility to repair the permissions.
