Audacity and LAME MP3 encoder

I've downloaded Audacity, I've downloaded LAME. I've searched for and tried to follow all the instructions videos I could find to made it all run. But every time I got to Preferences and then Libraries - it says MP3 export library not found. I then click on locate it gives me the exact location all the instructional videos say it should be but it does't recognize.

I'm very low tech savy but I need audacity for a class. I can't figure my problem out.

Download LAME here.

Run the installer.

Now open Audacity, go to Preferences/Libraries, click locate.

That should do the trick. Worked for me.
