It'd be handy as a built-in function but there are several apps that provide the same functionality and more. Apps that work cross-platform too

Hard to be a game changer when Apple's playing catchup:

Now, if this feature was seamless and didn't involve something like tapping devices together (Android Beam), it could certainly be an improvement or a refinement on the process. If it was truly "hey, there's an iOS device, go push it to said device," it would certainly be an improvement on any built in tech I've seen in any other mobile OS.
