Hello everyone!

I have an early 2011, 13" Macbook Pro with 2.3ghz i5 and 4gb of memory that has been randomly rebooting. I've run the Apple hardware test and it says everything is fine. I've reset the PRAM and the SMC. I've also done a complete re installation of OSX with erasing the hard drive prior. I'm thinking its hardware based but since its no longer in warranty not sure where to start. The error report is below. If anyone has any ideas as to whats causing this please suggest, I'll try anything.

It appears to be a memory error. Since that looks like the original memory in the machine, try removing the modules one at a time and re-seating them. In other words, pull the modules and then push them back into their slots. If that doesn't cure the problem, download and run "MemTest" for the Mac.

Something else you can try first before pulling the modules.... Boot the machine in Safe Boot mode to see if the same thing happens. Hold down your shift key as soon as you hear the boot chime. Safe mode removes all third party drivers and startup programs. It also disables the system sound and some networking. Let us know the result.

I will try re-seating the memory and see if that helps. If not its at least and inexpensive replacement (compared to a logic board)
At the moment I am running a fresh installation of OSX with only Chrome browser, VLC and flash installed. I thought maybe conflicting driver or application so went to this but still rebooting randomly. I'll reseat the memory now.

For my own future reading of error messages, what portion of the error message indicated possible memory issues?
I had run hardware test and memory came back "ok"

Looks like the memory may be OK. Did you try the safe boot mode as I suggested above?

I just now booted into safe mode after another crash. It has run fine for the last 2 days after the clean installation and has started acting up again this afternoon.
I am starting to suspect Apple's "Messages" app as it seemed to run fine earlier until I started running "Messages" then it crashed again. Probably unrelated though.

If it's crashing in safe mode, it's very likely a hardware error. The kernel panic log listing you posted still shows the same strange memory error:

7 error-reporting banks
threshold-based error status present
extended corrected memory error handling present

Is there an Apple store nearby your home? You might want to take it on in and have Apple run their diagnostic software on it to see if it comes up with something. They should be able to do that for free. Just don't allow them to repair anything without them first telling you the cost.

At the moment no but I will be near an Apple store within a month or so.

Would their diagnostics differ from the Apple Hardware Test software on Intel based systems?

I'm comfortable replacing almost any part I just cant figure out why all the tests come back as "ok" yet clearly something is off.

Yes, their diagnostic software is proprietary and only for use by Apple techs. The Apple Hardware Test will pick up some general hardware errors but is not designed to find board level problems. When did it start to crash since it appears you've had the machine for awhile?

Good to know. Its actually been doing it for awhile (but conveniently still after warranty was out) I've "lived with it" as its primarily used for lighter work (web, chat, etc) but as I've tried the more common things to solve the issue it has sparked my interest in finding the root of the problem. Ironically enough I had determined to not purchase Apple care just weeks before it started crashing.
As to the age, while the model is early 2011, I've only had it for just under 2 years. It was an Apple refurb purchase and had no issues for quite some time. Even now when the crashing has come back it had not crashed for close to a month after reseting the SMC and PRAM.
