purple rectangle

hi imac os 10.7.5

there is a purple box popping up on the right side of my screen.it says things on it but i don't read them i think it's google thing cuz there is one little box saying google something. these things can be disappeared with a click, but it is annoying.

anyone else getting this?

Is this while you're in Safari? What app are you using when that happens? Try reading it next time and tell us what it says.

I'm wondering if the OP installed any browser plug-ins or some sort of 3rd party software recently.
