apple app store mass download

i was wondering if there is a way to put a list of apps i want to download form the apple store and have the computer download all the apps on the list without having to manually click each app

AppleScript will allow simple control, but you need to do able to do either go the long route which is:
1) Open iTunes
2) Go to the iTunes store
3) Select the search box enter the exact app name
4) Click on the button with the price/free to begin to download.
5) Enter Apple ID password when prompted.

The easier to cut out steps 1 to 3 is to search for the direct app URL, but that would need to be entered into a browser which will cause iTunes to launch/load the URL and in turn get you to the same page. Then steps 4 and 5 have to be done..

The issue here is that scripts don't work really well with arbitrary buttons, so unless you can call out those buttons explicitly from within iTunes, not sure how it'd work..
