any problems with either os these?

G.Skill 4GB PC-10666 (1333MHz)
or
Kingston KTA-MB1333/4GFR 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz

First, please do not hi-jack someone else's thread. If you have something to add to the thread, OK. But you started a new subject.

Anyway, I moved your question to its own thread.

Your Mac Mini according to Mactracker uses the following memory:

Maximum Memory 16 GB
Memory Slots 2 - 204-pin PC3-12800 (1600 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM

Always use the correct memory - do not attempt to substitute different modules. The memory you quoted is incorrect and will cause problems. If you have any doubt about what memory your Mac Mini uses, the easiest way to find out is click on the Apple menu at the top left of your screen. Then select "About This Mac", and further on down, "more info" and then to the memory section.

Memory should be installed in pairs in pretty much every modern computer - including Macs.

Max ram for your Mac-Mini is 16gig. Thus you must use two 8gig ram modules to achieve 16gig of total ram.

If this model Mac-Mini supported 16gig ram modules...then the max. ram for it would be 32gig (but it doesn't support 16gig ram modules)...that's why you must use 2 x 8gig ram modules.
