Iphone 4 voicemail

My home landline is ex-directory.
When I make a call to my Iphone4 the caller is shown as "blocked" and I am unable to leave a voicemail message.
How can I leave a voicemail message?

Way... way too many specs to list.
Leaving a voicemail shouldn't have anything to do with the phone that's connected to the receiving service. You should call your carrier.
