Hi

How do you drag and drop a newly created MP3 file from iTunes back to documents ? I did the reverse by dragging an dropping an AIFF file in to iTunes to create a MP3 version of that file. Now I'm trying to drag and drop the MP3 file back to documents but can't find any way of how to do this, very frustrating.

Select the song in iTunes and drag it to your desktop, wait for the green '+" sign and then let go.
-I'm sorry if this sounds condescending, in your post it sounds like you have already done this.

ITunes may have just taken the .aiff and read it. It won't put it back because the file exists.
I recommend an audio converter- google " .aiff to .mp3 converter for mac"

But if the files has been converted to MP3 it should no longer read it as aif but MP3.

Also there is no green + sign when attempting to drop the file.

I guess that makes sense.

Have you tried right clicking the song in iTunes, checking on the "Show in FInder" tab?? Does it come up as .Mp3 there?

Solved how? Inquiring minds want to know, like someone with the same question who finds this doing a search...

How about: That worked. Thanks.
