Hi there.

I am currently using a macbook air version 10.8.2 and I really want some applications to open when I log in. I have looked all over the internet for answers but all of them were for previous versions, as the the current system preferences does not have the "accounts" button. I have tried everything, but nothing worked. If anyone could tell we a way for version 10.8.3 (I am upgrading me laptop soon), that would be great

Thanks

Two ways to do it:

1. System Preferences, Users & Groups, Login items. Open the small lock at the bottom with your admin password. Click on the + sign, and add your application(s).

2. Open each application in turn. When they appear in the Dock, right click and select "Options", "Open at Login".

Thank you so much! I used the second method because system preferences didn't seem to have the users & Groups button.
