Calendar question

I am a new user and when in Contacts you have the option of sending an email directly from the contact record. But I am unable to make an appointment for that contact while still in the contact record. It appears that you have to come out of contacts and go to Calendar to make an appointment?

This seems odd given that you can email from the contact record but not make an appointment from the record?

The only option to email you have in contacts is to send a contact by email.

Is something stopping you opening calendar and creating an event?
