Imac 24 early 2009 2.66

Hello im new to this forum, Im looking for some help, ive dropped my imac and the front glass is smashed and the lcd is also broken.

It still works on my tv so the mac itself is fine, im looking for a new screen and glass but finding it hard to find one.

Could someone please help me find a replacement as ive searched all over the net with no joy?

I know the lcd is the model LM240WU2 (SL) (B4)

The 24" screens are difficult to find since Apple quit using them. Try eBay or Craig's list.

Thank you for the advice, I wondered why they were so expensive, some prices people are charging are higher than buying another iMac!

They sell both new & used parts...and they might be able to "hook you up"!

Yikes Dennis...the Early 2009 parts are pretty pricey. But then we are talking the display glass and the LCD panel itself.

I think that the moral of the story is...don't drop an iMac!

Just like...keep liquids away from laptops!
