Hello everyone,
If this is in the wrong place feel free to let me know so I can move it. I have a 1.8Ghz intel core i5 4GB 1600MHz DDR3 512MB macbook air. I want to use the hbo go service to watch game of thrones on my laptop, but I have read that the hbo go needs 1.83Ghz so it probably won't work on an air. I just wanted to make sure that there is no way to use hbo go on my laptop. Thanks for the help!

According to the system requirements, you do indeed need a slightly faster processor. However, 30mhz is unlikely going to mean the difference between a terrible experience and a great one. That said, you are at the absolute bottom end of the requirements (well, in fact, you're below them). Since you're well over the minimums in each other respect, you're probably fine. The only case in which this could be a problem is if the specs on your machine are checked first (I have no idea what HBO GO is so I don't know if specs are checked before watching content).

The only way you're going to get a real answer is by logging in to HBO Go and trying it. Can do that and have your answer in about 1 minute.

It works just fine on my MBA with the 1.8 i7.
I also have a 30 Mb connection.
