It's 3 days so far without PhotoshopCS. This is like no coffee in the morning. I tried application/PhotshopCS/plugins/import/export/twain plug-in. I highlighted the twain plug-in icon and tried to change name to ~twain plug-in. Couldn't change name. This may sound that I'm knowledgeable but I am not...someone told me this.
Can anyone help?

Can you describe the problem in greater detail? We know that Photoshop CS unexpectedly quits, but we don't know the circumstances surrounding it. Does it quit immediately upon startup, or are you doing a particular function in the software when it occurs?

The more detail you can give, the better response we can provide.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software from the original media?

Prior to this problem...did you do anything to the computer? Such as:

- install or uninstall any software
- accidentally move software (into or out of a folder)
- upgrade or downgrade the OS
- etc.

There are fonts that I wish to save do I drag those to the desktop? Also Brushes, gradients, Patterns .
Will this uninstalling remove PhotoshopCS from the External HDD also?
