Looks like those of us who do not use iPhones or iPads are left out in the cold. No intention of buying one either so maybe off to Windows?

It says from a new device Harry. So I'm assuming as long as you continue using the app store from your iMac, you should be OK.

BTW, did you get a chance to see the Solar Eclipse? It was supposed to be visible from most of Australia.

If you can access this in your country, this is a no-brainer. While certainly not foolproof, it certainly is a fantastic way to limit access to your account. In fact, I'd recommend using it on any accounts/services that offer it (Google, Dropbox, Facebook and Microsoft for instance). See more info here about two-step authentication.

No Charlie too far south. Was only visible in the far north up around Darwin.

Well it does say 'another device'. No other device no verification? Do not even use a mobile phone of any description.

Come on harry, you know you want a nice Touch Screen Device you can get full of fingerprints! :D Grin

hahahahah

I have an iPhone so I guess I am not left out.

On a more serious note, when I set mine up I thought I could another computer to get the code but I will not swear to that. Will check later. They do say anything that uses Find my iphone. Well OSX has that feature also. Let me see if I have that option.

Ok checked, if asks if no device is available and then gives you option to use recovery key. You can also have it call your phone number!! Only catch is the Phone Number has to have SMS like any cell phone. Do you possess a Cell phone Harry with SMS?

What is a touch screen? My iMac and Dell laptop are enough technology for this old whatsit!
