I'm trying to transfer files between two MacPro towers using Target Disk Mode and I would like to use Esata instead of Firewire800. I tried to boot the computer holding down T and with the two connected with an Esata cable, but even though the symbol for target mode appeared on screen, the drives did not mount onto the other computer. It does mount using Firewire800, but it's slower than I want. Both computers have their Esata cards working properly. Is this even possible on a Mac (OSX 10.6.8)?
