Hello guys,

i'm a newbie :dive:

need help here... my girlfriend needs a powerbook to do some graphic applications like photoshop, flash, etc...

then comes this dude, wants to sell his titanium power book to me for US$750.00.

It is a 15.2" titanium 550MHz, 512MB RAM, 40GB HD, 16MB GPU (ati radeon)...

Is it worth it? can this powerbook runs photoshop or flash smoothly?

should i go for it or just forget about it?

please advice...

That is not a powerful enough system for the apps she is looking for. Its also too much money considering for 250 more dollars (even less if you are a college student) you can get an iBook

1.33GHz PowerPC G4
512K L2 cache @1.33GHz
512MB memory (DDR333 SDRAM)
12.1-inch TFT Display
1024x768 resolution
ATI Mobility Radeon 9550
32MB DDR video memory
40GB Ultra ATA hard drive
Combo Drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW)
Built-in AirPort Extreme
Built-in Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
Scrolling Trackpad
Sudden Motion Sensor
