I have the same issue, and I know it is related in some way to Tuxera since if disable it the trash seems to be empty. Enabling NTFS support the trash again displays 3 empty folders that I can not delete in anyway....

The only thing that worked for me, was to mount the partition in another OS (Ubuntu was my choice), show hidden folders and navigate to .Trash / 502 and deleting those files manually.

I hope it helps to someone else :)

Our advice: Get rid of Tuxera. It's known to cause corruption, data loss, and problems with writing to NTFS drives and partitions. The only real safe driver to use with your Mac is Paragon NTFS from Paragon Software. Still only $19.95.
