I have encountered a problem transferring files to my Mac. I am using Canon Imagebrowser. I f I look within Imagebrowser, In one particular folder for Video, I have found that there are duplicates of files. They have the same file number? How can that be? Duplicates are dated with the date I transferred to the Mac.

If you use Finder go to the folder where the files are kept are there genuinely duplicated files in there?

Yes I did have duplicated image files. Deleted now, but the duplicates were dated the date I transferred them.

Sounds like Canon Imagebrowser isn't capable of handling files that have already been transferred
