I have a Macbook with Word for Mac 2011. I can't figure out how to indent the first line of EVERY paragraph in a document. I am writing a book, and need to do this. In my old mac/word program on my old imac, it would do this. I have followed the instructions under help, but they keep referring to a "popup" window in the paragraph dialog box, and there is no popup window. Also, I have found no reference anywhere on the web on how to indent EVERY first line of every paragraph.

Please advise me.

Thanks so much and best regards,

This girl is great, Apple should offer her a job.

I think you mean "Microsoft" should offer her a job. Apple has nothing to do with writing the help file for Word 2011.

Note also.... that instead of using the "ruler" to set the indent and tabs, you can select "Format" paragraph, set the indent and tabs. Afterward, add it to your "Styles". Using Styles and custom styles in Word for Mac and also Word for Windows is a very powerful way to do your writing.
