I love the keyboard on my MacBook Pro and Air and strongly dislike the iMac keyboard. I have tried LogiTech keyboards but they are no better. Is there an aftermarket keyboard for the iMac with the feel of the laptop keyboards?

What keyboard do you have with your iMac? What Year and Model is the iMac?

To me, the small Apple Bluetooth Wireless keyboard feels the same as a MBP or AIR. It's hard for me to type on anything else now.

So exactly which one do you have? Could you take a picture? I can fly on my Apple BT keyboard.

Kind of the same thing I was thinking.:)

I have the 21.5-inch iMac from Mid 2011 with the standard small Bluetooth Wireless keyboard. Too me, the MBP & AIR have a distinctly different, 'softer' feel which I prefer over the Bluetooth Wireless keyboard.

There are several good after market third party keyboards for the iMac both wired and wireless. But without actually trying them out before you buy, there's always a chance that they may not suit you. I just ordered a third party keyboard for my iMac (hasn't arrived yet) but it's wired and has a distinct click feel like the old IBM keyboards. BTW, the full sized wired Apple aluminum keyboard for the iMac has a very similar touch to it like the keyboard on a MacBook or MacBook Pro. (I'm using one right now.)
