Hallo iedereen,

Ik heb daarnet geprobeerd een keylogger trial te installeren, daarvoor moest ik een pakket uitpakken ; logger.pks ofzoiets en dan mijn mac herstarten.
na het herstarten krijg ik om de 5 seconden een foutmelding ;

Please repost your question in English. These forums are in English and while we could employ translation software to translate your post, something is always lost when doing that.

Thanks for understanding.

Please do as chscag says and repost in English, but in the meanwhile I see "keylogger" and "virus" in your post and the Google translation tells me enough about what you are trying..

Why are you installing a keylogger?

in english syslogagent stopped error

I'm sorry,

so in english, I just tried to install a keylogger trial and i had to unpack logger.pks.
after i did this, i had to restart my mac,
after doing this I came across an error pop up that says
"the programme syslogagent has stopped."
with the options ignore/report/start again

I tried all of these 3 options but nothing happens, the window keeps popping up everytime i click on something. I already tried restarting my mac several times but it keeps popping up.

I really hope someone can help me, because i can't seem to find a solution and I'm afraid that it's some kind of a virus...
help help help pleaseeee

It's not a virus as there are no viruses in the wild that can infect your Mac. However, it sounds like the keylogger software is not compatible with your version of OS X. If you're using Lion or Mountain Lion, older software that contains PPC code will not run. It could also be a badly written program. It's probably best to uninstall it and try another keylogger software package if you really need to have one.

I was installing keylogger because i was searching for a programme to attach more mac screens to each other, so i could run several programmes with my mac, i don't know a lot more about it, but i'm afraid the pop up won't go away, otherwise i'll go to the macstore, but maybe you people can help me out...

If the pop is still occurring, then it did not get completely uninstalled. Did the program come with an uninstaller or did you just drag it to the trash?

That was the first page in the search for syslogagent. I would read that carefully. Some Spyware thing they say. It shows there every file it installs and it's path and what is does so a reboot launches it.

Try getting rid of it with Appzapper. I found it very useful for getting rid of every file associated with some iTunes add-on a year or so ago. Has a free trial so it is worth a shot unless someone else here recommends otherwise.

Help

Hi so I had the same problem so i contacted the manufacturers and the gave me a answer that solved the problem. This is what they said:
Hi,

Please try to completely uninstall the software.

Please follow below steps to completely uninstall

Uninstall Steps:

Please first delete file /Library/LaunchAgents/com.rxs.syslogagent.plist then reboot the Mac and then delete Folder /Library/Application Support/syslogagent

Now the application is uninstalled but settings and temporary logs are not yet deleted. For deleting logs and settings.

- Open Finder
- Click on Menu GO -> Go to Folder
-Enter path /Users/shared/.syslogagent
-Delete all its contents

Then once I finished I restarted my mac and the error was gone
Hope this helps

Not sure I understand exactly what you want. Are you trying to use one Mac to operate other Macs remotely? If so, there are many ways to do that. If you tell us a bit more about what you want to do we can make better suggestions.
