Right shift key will not work

When I use the right shift key on my iMac, It refuses to work with any key at all. I have tried unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in and I have restarted the computer. Nothing has worked. What do I do?

Did you spill anything (water, liquids, etc.) on the keyboard recently or in the past? If not, it may just be mechanical failure. A new keyboard for your iMac is $49 from Apple and even less from some discounters. Other World Computing sells them for as low as $29 used.
