I need help!
I am a freelance journalist who often takes photos for my stories. I previously owned a PC and used Micro Soft Photo Pro to edit the metadata of my photos, adding a caption and copyright into.
I understand that iPhoto does not have that capability, so I purchased Aperture. It doesn't work either. It allows me to edit the caption field, but when I send the photo to the newspaper's photo desk, the field is blank.
I have discussed this with Apple and they are refunding my money for Aperture rather than offering a fix or workaround for the issue.
Now what? I still need to edit my metadata and I have no idea what program to turn to. Is PhotoShop my only option? It's pretty pricey for the one little thing I need to do. I don't edit my photos other than an occasional cropping.
