This is pathetic, I just cant find it! I am trying to delete a jpeg from a list in front of me. How do I do that on the MAC keyboard?

What kind of list? Text file? Findr window? If Finder then drag file to trash, if text file hit the delete key..not sure what you are asking..

Oh, it's a Mac, not a MAC..

Again, what kind of list - we don't know what you're looking at.
If the list you're in is a Finder window, the keyboard shortcut would be "command delete".

And from almost anywhere, the highlighted whatever can be deleted by using a right click and selecting delete or move to trash.

Thank you. The "command delete" (or backspace) is the one.

Also, a finder window may have a circle-slash symbol in the toolbar. If so, highlight the file and click that. But, you could have chosen not to activate that capability at some point.

You can find those keyboard shortcuts by visiting the menu bar items while in Finder.
The shortcut will be shown next to the item in the menus.
