headphones

when you plug in headphones the sound switches to the headphones. is there a way when your done to switch the sound back to the external speakers without unplugging the headphones. so you can switch between the two without removing the cord.

Im thinking of picking up a nice set of cans for my desktop and it would be nice if i didnt have to uplug and plug in whenever i wanted internal or external sound.

Unfortunately it is a Mechanical switch inside the Jack. The only possibility I can think of would be a USB sound card that you switch to in the settings.
