I burned a number of disks in the last 6 months for other people on my MBP running OS X 10.6.8 and when I go to the finder I still see them listed in left window of the finder along with the burn symbol. I have 12 still showing.

How do I get them to go away? Its not an overly important problem but, it is more than selecting the file and hitting delete.

Any help appreciated? I am thinking it has something to do with the burn folder remaining on the desktop after the burn.

And help appreciated.

Hold down the command key while dragging them off with the mouse and they will go poof when you release. You're evidently doing something that puts them there in the first place but I'm not sure what, but at least they are easy to get rid of.
